These after-school programs will be offered from 3:45 to 4:45 PM in the Downingtown Elementary Schools with the exception of West Bradford or Beaver Creek Elementary School for the 2025 Spring session due to construction.
Snapology Junior Engineers- (Spring 2025)
In this robotics program, your little engineer will dive into the exciting world of robotics while building cool models that teach the basics of robotic design! They'll get hands-on with motors, creating everything from drills to catapults, and discover how sensors work by playing with a magical wand or a goal kicker. It's a thrilling way for your child to learn all about robots, teamwork, and problem-solving--plus, they'll have a blast while doing it!
Snapology Foundational Engineering- (Fall 2025)
Does your little learner love to tinker, build, and create--or maybe they enjoy taking things apart to see what makes them tick? If that sounds like them, they're going to have a blast in Snapology's Foundational Engineering. Machines and Contraptions program! This hands-on adventure lets your child dive into the world of mechanical movement and discover the magic of simple machines. They'll get to build exciting machines and contraptions, explore moving parts up-close, and even come up with their own creative designs. Whether they're the creative builder or the curious explorer, this program will ignite their passion for engineering and spark their imagination!
Snapology Developing Engineers- (Winter 2026)
Is your student a curious problem-solver, a big-thinker, or a future engineer in the making? If so, they'll love Snapology;s Developing Engineers: Mechanical Masterminds program! This hands-on adventure gives your student all the tools they need to explore mechanical movement, simple machines, physics, and engineering design. They'll get to build exciting models, see how moving parts come together, and then take their creations to the next level by developing their own design ideas. Whether they're the creative builder or the curious explorer, this program will spark their interest in engineering and leave them eager to learn more!
Please note: In order to ensure the affordability of Snapology programs, children do not get to keep or take home their projects; however, we capture their creative achievements through photography, allowing parents to admire and cherish their creations.
We need 6 children registered to run any of these programs!
