PP Kids Ice Skating
Have fun while learning the fundamentals of ice skating. The Learn to Skate Program is open to individuals of all ages; children through adult.  No previous skating experience is required. Each class consists of a 25-minute group lesson and a 25-minute of a supervised practice session. Students may bring one adult Parent/Guardian on ice during ONLY during their 25 min. practice for a fee.  No siblings or other coaches instead of parent! Skate rental is included in the cost of enrollment.

Helmet Rule: children under the age of 7 years are required to wear a bike or hockey helmet.  Power Play Ice Rink does not loan helmets.  You may purchase one in the rink pro-shop.


"Pre-School Learn to Skate"  this class is set up to teach your 3-6 year old to learn to ice skate.

NEW! Thursday Night Learn to Skate ".5 Program"
     Starting in March on Thursday Nights our earn to Skate Class is only a 30 minute lesson with no extra practice. Open to Ages 4 to Adult.

Adult Learn to Skate Program!
"A Different Skate of Mind" - for ages 14 and older.  This program consist of a 45minute supervised practice session each class.  You will learn the basic fundamentals of ice skating in a mature, adult only environment, where no previous skating experience is required.  This is the perfect opportunity to learn the skills and give you the abilities to assist your children when taking your kids ice skating on a local pond or ice skating at the  Rockerfeller Center rink in New York City.

Have fun while learning the fundamentals of ice skating! No previous skating experience is required in this small group classes setting. All classes have a 25 minute group lesson and a 25 minute supervised practice. (except the Thursday .5 Spring) Students may for an extra price bring one adult Parent/Guardian on ice ONLY during their 25 min. practice session for a fee. No siblings or other coaches allowed in place of parent! This class is set up to teach your 3-6 year old to learn to ice skate. HELMET RULE: All children aged 7 and under are REQUIRED to wear a bike or hockey helmet. We do not loan helmets. We highly recommend skaters wear helmets and if they choose wrist guards, knee or elbow pads. You can purchase a hockey helmet in the rink pro shop.
