Basic Beginner Barre
Instructor: Ingrid Guthrie
This class introduces foundational barre exercises designed to gently strengthen and tone the body. Movements are performed both at the ballet barre and in the center of the studio, with a focus on balance, alignment, and control. Simple ballet-inspired movements are included, and all exercises are taught at an accessible pace. No prior dance or fitness experience is required—perfect for those new to barre or looking for a low-impact, supportive workout.
Ingrid Guthrie Bio:
Ingrid has been teaching fitness classes for over 10 years and enjoys sharing the wealth of knowledge with her students in a thoughtful, caring and fun way. She has studied with, been trained and privately coached by some of the best of the best in the Yoga, Pilate, AcquaPole, Ballet and Dance worlds.
Please bring a yoga mat, and yoga straps to class.
