Mommy & Me with Chrysalis Art Center - Mommy and Me - Oct
Each art class is designed to help increase creativity and problem solving skills in young children through fun art activities. In our "Mommy and Me" Art Class, your child will explore a variety of art materials, experience new textures, improve fine motor skills, and enjoy being creative in a group setting. Each lesson is developed to expose the children to an element of art, new art material, and basic art skills, all while having fun. "Mommy and Me" classes are for one adult and child, ages 18 months to 4 years. Any adult...Mom, Dad, Grandma, Granddad, Aunt, Uncle, Friend, etc may join the child. These classes are 45 minutes long. Please do not bring any snacks, drinks are welcome. One adult must accompany the child and participate along side the child.*Classes are small. Limit of 5 students and 5 adults*

Primary Art Experience: ages 3.5-6.5(Wednesdays from 1-2pm, Saturdays 12:30-1:30pm, or Sundays from 1-2pm)Variety of art experiences to give students the happy feelings of creative expression in a small cohort of art friends. Skill and age level appropriate projects developing painting, drawing, mixed media, ceramics, cutting, crafts, etc. Max 12 children, room for 1 parent at workstation.Afternoon/Afterschool Art: (Tuesdays- 4-6:00pm or Thursdays 4-6:00pm) ages 7-11Two hours of foundational art experiences for developing artists, individually based. Work in a studio environment pursuing your art interest, exploring techniques for drawing, painting and sculpture, have a chance to influence project direction and create original artwork. Ongoing classes Tuesdays and Thursdays, come both days or just one day a week. Make up times available.Youth Art Classes on Saturdays (2-4pm) ages 7-12This art class is for students that are missing in-person, hands-on art projects in a variety of forms. Join us for some creative fun! Ceramics has been our main interest area with instruction in basic slab, coil and pinch methods of hand building. Students are encouraged to express their creative ideas on canvas, learn brush styles and color theory, study still life, learn from famous artists' styles, sketch and draw during lessons on perspective, animal form and textures, human proportion, Enjoy this small group interaction while making projects in a studio environment. Create original pieces of pottery or sculpture using red, white or brown clay. We will fire it for you and if you want to glaze, you can come back for a relaxing painting session with our large selection of glazes requiring another firing. All materials are included and experienced instruction as needed. Why not relive those happy times now? Jotting down your childhood memories and illustrating them is a great way to start! Professional artist and graphic designer Felecia R. Weber will help you to use your own creative style to bring your childhood stories to life! Each art class is designed to help increase creativity and problem solving skills in young children through fun art activities. In our "Mommy and Me" Art Class, your child will explore a variety of art materials, experience new textures, improve fine motor skills, and enjoy being creative in a group setting. Each lesson is developed to expose the children to an element of art, new art material, and basic art skills, all while having fun. "Mommy and Me" classes are for one adult and child, ages 18 months to 4 years. Any adult...Mom, Dad, Grandma, Granddad, Aunt, Uncle, Friend, etc may join the child. These classes are 45 minutes long. Each art class is designed to help increase creativity and problem solving skills in young children through fun art activities. In our "Mommy and Me" Art Class, your child will explore a variety of art materials, experience new textures, improve fine motor skills, and enjoy being creative in a group setting. Each lesson is developed to expose the children to an element of art, new art material, and basic art skills, all while having fun. Each art class is designed to help increase creativity and problem solving skills in young children through fun art activities. In our "Mommy and Me" Art Class, your child will explore a variety of art materials, experience new textures, improve fine motor skills, and enjoy being creative in a group setting. Each lesson is developed to expose the children to an element of art, new art material, and basic art skills, all while having fun. "Mommy and Me" classes are for one adult and child, ages 18 months to 4 years. Any adult...Mom, Dad, Grandma, Granddad, Aunt, Uncle, Friend, etc may join the child. These classes are 45 minutes long. Each art class is designed to help increase creativity and problem solving skills in young children through fun art activities. In our "Mommy and Me" Art Class, your child will explore a variety of art materials, experience new textures, improve fine motor skills, and enjoy being creative in a group setting. Each lesson is developed to expose the children to an element of art, new art material, and basic art skills, all while having fun. "Mommy and Me" classes are for one adult and child, ages 18 months to 4 years. Any adult...Mom, Dad, Grandma, Granddad, Aunt, Uncle, Friend, etc may join the child. These classes are 45 minutes long.
