7. Closings / Weather Cancellations
Weather/Emergency Cancellations: Whenever the Downingtown Area School District (DASD) schools are closed, or close early, all activities that are held in school or municipal buildings will be cancelled.
If you have registered for a class on-line and have provided either an e-mail address or selected to enable text alerts to your cell phone an automated message will be sent informing you of the cancellation. You can also call the DARC Weather Line 610-269-6540 one hour prior to its start time (it will be updated as needed).
For activities that take place through an outside vendor at their place of business, please contact the provider directly for cancellation information.
