The instructor is following all the CDC guidelines for a safe and fun ART class!The Chrysalis Art Center is currently offering a COVID special; 6 classes for the price of 5.Adult Open Studio Wednesdays: (6-8pm)Need a break to pursue your creative self in a relaxing environment? Come join our Wednesday evening Art Studio. Each week will have a different art theme.  For example: Draw, Paint, Sculpt, Design using our materials, expertise, storage, and workshop space. Steal time for yourself! Artist(s) will be available for consultation or guidance as needed. Individualized project development, collaboration options, resources to share. Work in a studio environment on your own creative idea and art medium. Store your ongoing projects here and utilize our optional showcase.Afterschool Art: ages 7-11 (4-6pm)Two hours of foundational art experiences for developing artists, individually based. Work in a studio environment pursuing your art interest, exploring techniques for drawing, painting and sculpture, have a chance to influence project direction and create original artwork. Ongoing classes Tuesdays and Thursdays, come both days or just one day a week. The instructor is following all the CDC guidelines for a safe and fun ART class!The Chrysalis Art Center is currently offering a COVID special; 6 classes for the price of 5.Adult Open Studio Wednesdays: (6-8pm)Need a break to pursue your creative self in a relaxing environment? Come join our Wednesday evening Art Studio. Each week will have a different art theme.  For example: Draw, Paint, Sculpt, Design using our materials, expertise, storage, and workshop space. Steal time for yourself! Artist(s) will be available for consultation or guidance as needed. Individualized project development, collaboration options, resources to share. Work in a studio environment on your own creative idea and art medium. Store your ongoing projects here and utilize our optional showcase.Afterschool Art: ages 7-11 (4-6pm)Two hours of foundational art experiences for developing artists, individually based. Work in a studio environment pursuing your art interest, exploring techniques for drawing, painting and sculpture, have a chance to influence project direction and create original artwork. Ongoing classes Tuesdays and Thursdays, come both days or just one day a week. Make up times available.Primary Art Experience (Wednesdays and Sundays 1-2pm)Variety of art experiences to give students the happy feelings of creative expression in a small cohort of art friends. Skill and age level appropriate projects developing painting, drawing, mixed media, ceramics, cutting, crafts, etc. Max 6 children, room for 1 parent at workstation.Group 1: Pre-K & Kindergarten ages 3,4,5yr (ask about Parent and Me option)Group 2: Primary grades ages 6,7,8yrSaturday Adult Group Arts: (10am-12pm)Art class for students that are missing in-person hands-on art projects in a variety of forms. Ceramics has been our main interest area with instruction in basic slab, coil and pinch methods of hand building. Students are encouraged to express their creative ideas on canvas, learn brush styles and color theory, study still life, learn from famous artists' styles, sketch and draw during lessons on perspective, animal form and textures, and human proportion. Enjoy this small group interaction while making projects in a studio environment. (Covid Precautions followed, so wear a mask and a big art T-shirt)Youth Art Classes on Saturdays (2-4pm)This art class is for students that are missing in-person, hands-on art projects in a variety of forms. Join us for some creative fun! Ceramics has been our main interest area with instruction in basic slab, coil and pinch methods of hand building. Students are encouraged to express their creative ideas on canvas, learn brush styles and color theory, study still life, learn from famous artists' styles, sketch and draw during lessons on perspective, animal form and textures, human proportion, Enjoy this small group interaction while making projects in a studio environment. Mixed school ages with High School teen volunteers helping Mrs.Valitski, Art Instructor, work with students to complete a variety of creative art projects, eat lunch, and get some refreshing group fun on a day off! Requests for projects welcome.Teen Art Workshops (TWO hours)Two hour workshops in many areas of interest: Ceramics, Painting, Drawing, Jewelrymaking, Printmaking, Fiber Arts, Paper Arts, Macramé, Mosaics, Enameling, Dyeing, Marbling and Sculpture! Sign up with friends for a small group evening. Bring your own music blue-tooth or select from our vinyl collection.
