Start with the basics and master key moves like the Turkish Get Up, swings, cleans, and snatches. This functional full-body workout combines strength and conditioning for a powerful, effective training session!
Please bring your own kettle bells. Beginners: 5, 15, 25 lbs (one of each)Intermediate: 15, 25, 35 lbs (one of each)Advanced: 25, 35, 45 lbs. (one of each)The instructor will have a few to try at the first class. Boating (Marine) Navigation - Boating Navigation The Marine Navigation is a course which covers the basics of coastal and inland navigation. This course focuses on navigation as it is done on recreational boats today and embraces GPS as a primary navigation tool while covering traditional techniques so the student will be able to find his/her way even if their GPS fails. OpenCPN, free software that runs on Windows, MAC and other systems, will be taught in the class to demonstrate to students how to use electronic charting software. OpenCPN is a marine navigation program that is state-of-the-art and in wide use by commercial and recreational boating enthusiasts. The course includes in-class exercises, developing the student's skills through hands-on practice and learning. Some of the topics covered will include: Charts; Navigation aids; Plotting courses; Converting between True and Magnetic; and Use of GPS, including interpreting GPS displays. Topics covered include:
Charts and their interpretation
Navigation aids and how they point to safe water
Plotting courses and determining direction and distance
The mariner’s compass and converting between True and Magnetic
Use of GPS – typical GPS displays and information they provide, setting up waypoints and routes, staying on a GPS route.
Pre-planning safe courses and entering them into the GPS
Use of OpenCPN navigation software
Monitoring progress and determining position by both GPS and traditional techniques such as bearings and dead reckoning
The “Seaman’s Eye” – simple techniques for checking that one is on course.

Boating (Marine) Navigation - Boating Navigation The Marine Navigation is a course which covers the basics of coastal and inland navigation. This course focuses on navigation as it is done on recreational boats today and embraces GPS as a primary navigation tool while covering traditional techniques so the student will be able to find his/her way even if their GPS fails. OpenCPN, free software that runs on Windows, MAC and other systems, will be taught in the class to demonstrate to students how to use electronic charting software. OpenCPN is a marine navigation program that is state-of-the-art and in wide use by commercial and recreational boating enthusiasts. The course includes in-class exercises, developing the student's skills through hands-on practice and learning. Some of the topics covered will include: Charts; Navigation aids; Plotting courses; Converting between True and Magnetic; and Use of GPS, including interpreting GPS displays. Topics covered include:
Charts and their interpretation
Navigation aids and how they point to safe water
Plotting courses and determining direction and distance
The mariner’s compass and converting between True and Magnetic
Use of GPS – typical GPS displays and information they provide, setting up waypoints and routes, staying on a GPS route.
Pre-planning safe courses and entering them into the GPS
Use of OpenCPN navigation software
Monitoring progress and determining position by both GPS and traditional techniques such as bearings and dead reckoning
The “Seaman’s Eye” – simple techniques for checking that one is on course.

Kids will build, create, and explore exciting STEM concepts through engaging challenges and activities. Whether they’re constructing structures, solving puzzles, or designing their own masterpieces, every Saturday is a new opportunity for learning and laughter!

Hands-On Learning: Every session features themed LEGO® builds and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) activities.
Rotating Themes: Each Saturday introduces a new theme to keep kids engaged, such as robotics, engineering challenges, or creative storytelling.
Collaborative Play: Kids can work individually or in teams to complete exciting challenges.
Fun and Safe Environment: Our trained instructors foster a positive atmosphere for exploration and discovery.

Sample Activities:

STEAM Experiments: Fun hands-on science experiments incorporated with LEGO® (like balancing bridges).

**Some Saturday classes will be on Sunday due to scheduling conflicts. **There is a $35 drop in fee for each class. Must register by the Friday before the class date.
