Playground Camp @ East Ward Elementary School Ages 3-4 - EW-PS Week 8
1/2023: Mask policy- optional but we ask that if your child is sick(coughing, sneezing, etc) to be considerate to others health and have them wear a mask.The Half Day Playground Program for Pre-School Age children will be offered Mondays through Thursdays from 9:00 am to Noon. No camp on Fridays. WE WILL BE HOSTING PLAYGROUND CAMPS IN THE FOLLOWING SCHOOLS TENTATIVELY: 1. BRANYWINE WALLCE ELEMENTARY 2. PICKERING VALLEY ELEMENTARY 3. EAST WARD ELEMENTARYOur kindergarten camps have a lower number of campers and a higher ratio of camp staff to meet the needs of the younger children.Each of the weeks will be based around a theme of the week (download the weekly theme summary from forms section below). Science Explorers Marine Biology Mania Summer Camp - Marine Biology Mania
Marine Biology Mania: Dive into the world of marine biology and oceanography! In this exciting camp you’ll dissect a real shark, participate in a fisherman's challenge, examine the anatomy of a fish and learn the ancient technique of gyotaku or “fish rubbing”, learn to survive at sea by making your own solar still, experiment in a seashell science lab, create an underwater diorama complete with sea stars, sand dollars and sea urchins, and explore buoyancy by making a cartesian diver and designing your own submarine.Registration comes with a free Science Explorers T-Shirt!Please bring a peanut free snack and a drink.
