This class is a fusion of Cardio, Strength and Stretching for a full-body workout.  The our workout starts off with easy-to-follow aerobic combinations to help boost calorie burn and nurture heart health.  Followed by learning functional strength and core exercises to build a stronger body.  And last but not least we stretch it all out to help stay flexible and injury-free!Perfect for all ages and levels! **Each student should need to bring 1 set of lightweight dumbbells and 1 heavy weight dumbbell along with a yoga mat.  What's Recommended: 5-8lbs for a pair of dumbbells and 10-15lb for the 1 heavy weight.Meet the Instructor: Deanna Stissi has nearly 20 years of experience in the fitness industry specializing in group fitness and 1-on-1 custom training. Dance, Strength and Yoga have been her specialty formats and throughout the years have set her lessons apart from the rest, making it a “Triple-Threat” experience for her clients. A lifetime dancer, she started out her journey as a dance fitness instructor in 2005. Soon after, she suffered a whiplash injury from a car accident that led her to Yoga. After discovering the healing power of Yoga, she has been sharing it with others ever since. She furthered her education in Functional Movement and offered Functional Exercise and Assisted Stretching Therapy in several chiropractic environments. She applies her education into all of her formats making them custom, functional and safe for every client. Currently she has combined her skill-set and experience to create formats packaging her Triple-Threat Fitness system. Her mission is to offer fitness formats in an easy, fun and effective way for all ages and fitness levels.

 Join our Kettlebell Fitness class and learn the fundamentals of kettlebell training! Start with the basics and master key moves like the Turkish Get Up, swings, cleans, and snatches. This functional full-body workout combines strength and conditioning for a powerful, effective training session! 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM    Boating (Marine) Navigation - Boating Navigation
The Marine Navigation is a course which covers the basics of coastal and inland navigation. This course focuses on navigation as it is done on recreational boats today and embraces GPS as a primary navigation tool while covering traditional techniques so the student will be able to find his/her way even if their GPS fails. OpenCPN, free software that runs on Windows, MAC and other systems, will be taught in the class to demonstrate to students how to use electronic charting software. OpenCPN is a marine navigation program that is state-of-the-art and in wide use by commercial and recreational boating enthusiasts. The course includes in-class exercises, developing the student's skills through hands-on practice and learning. Some of the topics covered will include: Charts; Navigation aids; Plotting courses; Converting between True and Magnetic; and Use of GPS, including interpreting GPS displays. Topics covered include: Charts and their interpretation Navigation aids and how they point to safe water Plotting courses and determining direction and distance The mariner’s compass and converting between True and Magnetic Use of GPS – typical GPS displays and information they provide, setting up waypoints and routes, staying on a GPS route. Pre-planning safe courses and entering them into the GPS Use of OpenCPN navigation software Monitoring progress and determining position by both GPS and traditional techniques such as bearings and dead reckoning The “Seaman’s Eye” – simple techniques for checking that one is on course.

This class is a fusion of Cardio, Strength and Stretching for a full-body workout.  The our workout starts off with easy-to-follow aerobic combinations to help boost calorie burn and nurture heart health.  Followed by learning functional strength and core exercises to build a stronger body.  And last but not least we stretch it all out to help stay flexible and injury-free!Perfect for all ages and levels! **Each student should need to bring 1 set of lightweight dumbbells and 1 heavy weight dumbbell along with a yoga mat.  What's Recommended: 5-8lbs for a pair of dumbbells and 10-15lb for the 1 heavy weight.Meet the Instructor: Deanna Stissi has nearly 20 years of experience in the fitness industry specializing in group fitness and 1-on-1 custom training. Dance, Strength and Yoga have been her specialty formats and throughout the years have set her lessons apart from the rest, making it a “Triple-Threat” experience for her clients. A lifetime dancer, she started out her journey as a dance fitness instructor in 2005. Soon after, she suffered a whiplash injury from a car accident that led her to Yoga. After discovering the healing power of Yoga, she has been sharing it with others ever since. She furthered her education in Functional Movement and offered Functional Exercise and Assisted Stretching Therapy in several chiropractic environments. She applies her education into all of her formats making them custom, functional and safe for every client. Currently she has combined her skill-set and experience to create formats packaging her Triple-Threat Fitness system.  Join our Kettlebell Fitness class and learn the fundamentals of kettlebell training! Start with the basics and master key moves like the Turkish Get Up, swings, cleans, and snatches. This functional full-body workout combines strength and conditioning for a powerful, effective training session! 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM    Boating (Marine) Navigation - Boating Navigation
The Marine Navigation is a course which covers the basics of coastal and inland navigation. This course focuses on navigation as it is done on recreational boats today and embraces GPS as a primary navigation tool while covering traditional techniques so the student will be able to find his/her way even if their GPS fails. OpenCPN, free software that runs on Windows, MAC and other systems, will be taught in the class to demonstrate to students how to use electronic charting software. OpenCPN is a marine navigation program that is state-of-the-art and in wide use by commercial and recreational boating enthusiasts. The course includes in-class exercises, developing the student's skills through hands-on practice and learning. Some of the topics covered will include: Charts; Navigation aids; Plotting courses; Converting between True and Magnetic; and Use of GPS, including interpreting GPS displays. Topics covered include: Charts and their interpretation Navigation aids and how they point to safe water Plotting courses and determining direction and distance The mariner’s compass and converting between True and Magnetic Use of GPS – typical GPS displays and information they provide, setting up waypoints and routes, staying on a GPS route. Pre-planning safe courses and entering them into the GPS Use of OpenCPN navigation software Monitoring progress and determining position by both GPS and traditional techniques such as bearings and dead reckoning The “Seaman’s Eye” – simple techniques for checking that one is on course.
