Let's Get Creative!
Winter can be a challenging time for people to find interesting things to photograph. Join us for this three week course where we will get your creative juices flowing as we show you how to capture amazing images from dancing liquids, exploding water balloons, mesmerizing reflections and more. Learn important design elements, tips and tricks. Most of our time will be spent indoors, but we will venture outside as well.

Freeze It! (High Speed Photography)
Join as we dive into the world of High-Speed Photography. Capturing fast moving objects in motion can be challenging to say the least. We will show you the techniques and skills required to freeze them. We will be freezing fast moving objects, smashing glasses of liquids, exploding water balloons, dancing paint splashes and much more. We guarantee you'll come away with some VERY unique images! (Note: Some of the shots will require the student to use the instructors' camera)

Perfect Portrait Photography!
Join us as we show you how to capture perfect portraits that captures those special family moments and the unique character of those in front of your lenses. We will cover everything you need to know about using both natural lighting, window lighting and simple studio lighting setups as well as camera settings, lens choice, and helpful accessories to have on hand. You’ll learn how to pose and direct children, women, and men for amazing images. We’ll also cover techniques for capturing “creative” portraits that capture mood and emotion using special lighting techniques.

Ben Franklin Bridge Walk and City Skyline Night Shoot!
Experience the magic of Philadelphia from one of its most iconic landmarks! Join us for an unforgettable evening as we walk across the Ben Franklin Bridge, capturing dramatic views of the City of Brotherly Love from high above the Delaware River. You’ll learn how to compose striking architectural shots, master long exposures, and balance ambient and artificial light as the city begins to glow. After our walk, we’ll head to the Camden waterfront to photograph the Philadelphia skyline at dusk — a perfect setting for creating breathtaking cityscape images with shimmering reflections and vibrant twilight tones. This workshop includes moderate walking (mostly on flat surfaces) and is ideal for photographers of all levels who want to sharpen their night and cityscape photography skills while exploring one of the best skyline views in the region.
