Teen Japanese Sword
A Samurai-style art, Meishin Muso Ryu Iaido is one of the oldest sword styles known to exist. As a non-competitive art, Mesihin Muso Ryu uses forms and kata to teach strength, speed, and fluidity with a sword. During class, you’ll learn how to:
- Draw your blade smoothly
- Strike quickly
- Control the force of your blade
- Handle the scabbard
Students will use both a wooden bokken (training sword) during class. Bokkens will be provided for use during training.
