Freedom Barbell's mission is to introduce a power lifting based program to our local community and provide our participants with a class-based program to help develop true strength and fitness. Each class focuses on one of the three barbell movements (Bench, Deadlift, Squat) along with accessory exercises to increase strength and motor control for these lifts.

Power Lifting consists of the Bench Press, Squat and Deadlift. Each class focuses on one of the three barbell movements, along with accessory exercises to increase strength and motor control for these lifts. Freedom Barbell's programming focuses on "training cycles" that can range from 4 weeks to 16 weeks in length. Following each training cycle, a test week is programmed to reassess strength in the form of max lift testing. This style of programming leads to consistent progress, injury reduction and the development of true functional strength! The Barbell Club is Class Based: 3 classes per week (1 - 1.5 hrs per class). 

Everyone needs: Lifting Shoes & a small book to record weights.
It is also recommended to have: a Lifting Belt & a change of clothes.

Year Round
Pay by the Class: Residents: $20/class, Non-resident: $25/class or
Pay by the Month: Residents: $200, Non-resident: $220
