In our basic kettlebell class, we show how powerful of a tool the kettlebell can be in creating strength through a greater range of motion while also conditioning the body. This program looks very familiar to regular strength training sessions, except we teach our athletes how to utilize kettlebells to do traditional lifts such as squats, deadlifts, lunges, overhead press, bench and rows. The use of kettlebells as an extension of our body helps to focus on low impact conditioning while building strength, balance and coordination. Our performance team will help you get into the swing of things by challenging you with the basics, building a strong training foundation and educating you on how you can achieve a great workout with a minimal amount of equipment!

Meet Your Instructor Olivia Hurston:
Hi, my name is Olivia Hurston and I graduated in May of 2023, from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Nutrition. I am also a performance coach and personal trainer. After interning for a semester, I became a coach with Kinetic Sports Performance while creating content for and running our social media. When working with athletes, I place an emphasis on improving performance through sport and goal specific programming while maintaining a healthy, fun environment. Originally from Lancaster, I currently live in West Chester after moving for school. I like to stay active by weightlifting, going on hikes, or doing yoga. To relax I enjoy reading, watching movies, or cooking/baking
