Spring Migration Birding & Window Cling Workshop
Discover the wonderful world of local birds who are passing through during Spring Migration, as we learn how to protect and conserve our feathered friends. We will learn how to identify bird species that may live in our communities by sight and sound, then take a mini birding walk to practice these identification skills. After the walk, we shall discuss threats to bird populations and how to mitigate some of these threats on a local scale as we create window clings to prevent fatal window strikes. Participants are welcome to bring binoculars or cameras with a telephoto lens for the birding walk, however it's not required. All other materials are provided.
$10 materials fee payable directly to the instructor the day of the class.
