Spring Intro to Foraging Guided Walk & Tasting

Discover the new growth of spring as we identify wild-edibles in the newly-green landscape. We will take a wild-edible plant ID walk around the property and discuss foraging etiquette, sustainability, and anatomy used to identify plants. Then, we shall try some seasonal, foraged refreshments (Dandelion Latte, Garlic Mustard pesto over crackers, Violet spring tonic, and wildflower cupcakes - all foods are dairy & gluten free.). During the tasting portion, participants are welcome to create their own tea blends utilizing locally-foraged plants that are designed to invigorate and reawaken our digestive and immune systems after the long winter. All refreshments, dried plants for tea, tea pouches, and Materia Medica templates are provided.

$15 materials fee payable directly to the instructor the day of the class.
