Music Camp: Band Instruments

If you play an instrument in your school band and want to play new music with friends this summer, this camp is for you! Any child aged 9-12 with experience on one of the following instruments may register: flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone, tuba, percussion. Camp is taught by Megan Elder, a PA-certified music teacher who has taught instrumental instruction in public schools and privately for 10 years.
During camp, kids will have the opportunity to learn new music on their instrument, play music-related games, and even write their own music. Camp will culminate in a short, informal performance for parents, giving kids the chance to showcase what they have worked on during the week.
Each participant will need the following: instrument, lesson book (if one is used in their school band program), music stand, and any accessories that go with the instrument. Participants should have at least 6 months of playing experience on their instrument.
