DARC Summer Day Camps
6/29/2021: DARC is currently requiring all campers and staff to wear masks while they are indoors at Playground Camp. However, masks may be removed when outdoors. This requirement is based off of CDC guidelines for Youth Camps, which states: 

"Indoors. Mask use indoors is strongly encouraged for people who are not fully vaccinated including children. No child under the age of 2 should wear a mask.
Outdoors. In general, people do not need to wear masks when outdoors. However, particularly in areas of substantial to high transmission, people who are not fully vaccinated are encouraged to wear a mask in crowded outdoor settings or during activities that involve sustained close contact with other people who are not fully vaccinated." https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/schools-childcare/summer-camps.html

The Half Day Playground Program for Kindergarten Age children will be offered Mondays through Thursdays from 9:00 am to Noon. No camp on Fridays. 

WE WILL BE HOSTING PLAYGROUND CAMPS IN THE FOLLOWING SCHOOLS:
               1. EAST WARD ELEMENTARY
               2. PICKERING VALLEY ELEMENTARY
               3. WEST BRADFORD ELEMENTARY

Each of the weeks will be based around a theme of the week (download the weekly theme summary from forms section below). A weekly calendar will be available each Monday with a daily schedule of events for the week. 

Day to day activities will include sports games, arts & crafts, team building activities. 

Each camp has a Site Supervisor with professional childcare experience who supervises the camp.  Our staff will consist of well-qualified college and high school students. You can sign your child up for one week or all summer.


Notes:
  • Please make sure your child brings their own snacks and water bottle.
  • Parents are responsible for applying sunscreen to their children.
