Monarch Migration

Enjoy a family fun event at The East Brandywine Township Bondsville Mill Park to celebrate monarch migration. Monarch butterflies make and amazing migration during the autumn. Find out where the monarchs go during the winter and what they need for their journey. Find out how to tag a monarch and who tracks these gorgeous butterflies.

Cost is $15/$35 per family.  A family is defined as a parent and two children.  Please dress for the weather- as a portion of the program may be outside.

Instructor is Robin Spurlino
Robin has a B.S. in Biology, Environmental Health from Wright State University and a Masters in Environmental Studies; Resource Management from the University of Pennsylvania. She has taught outdoor education through Girl Scouts, Paradise Farm Camp and Springton Manor Farm Park.  While working at Springton Manor Farm, she helped to manage the butterfly house and is passionate about native plant gardening and its benefits.
