Cherry Blossoms
Join us for the Nations Greatest Springtime Celebration as we visit the Washington D.C. Cherry Blossom Festival. 

Skip the parking fees and tolls and allow us drive you to the Nation's Capital.  Spend 8 hours in the city and go sightseeing, visit all of the free Smithsonian museums, or see the monuments. The day is yours to enjoy. We will drop you off near the National Mall.

Some of our On Your Own Trips coincide with specific events in the city like festivals, parades, and shows.  This gives you the opportunity to attend a unique event or just do whatever strikes your fancy.

The bus will pick you up near the National Mall or Tidal Basin around 5:00 PM. No stops on the way home.

Monday, March 20, 2024 - Sunday, April 14, 2024 - Cherry Blossom Festival

* Many of you on this trip are going for the Cherry Blossom Festival, due to nature,  DARC cannot ensure that the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom.* 

Washington D.C. Bus Trip Details:

-Ticket price is $65 per person. Tickets are non-refundable, although, if we are unable to reach out minimum of participants the trip will be cancelled and your monies will be refunded.
-This is a coach bus and does have a bathroom as well as outlets for electronics on board.
-Please arrive to the bus and back to the bus approximately 15 minutes prior to departure.
-Masks are optional on the bus. But we ask all passengers to be considerate of other passengers health.  If you are feeling sick, are coughing, or blowing your nose a lot we ask you to wear a face mask while trailing on  the bus.

Trip Information
  • Departs from the parking lot of the Ashbridge Manor Rear Parking Lot.
  • Return: Approx. 8:00PM
  • Travel to and from Washington takes between 2:15 and 2:45 hours depending on traffic.
  • The Cherry Blossoms bloom in D.C. over a typical 3 week period in March/April depending on the weather. This trip is within the time period of the typical bloom period, but we cannot guarantee Mother Nature's cooperation!
