Arty Night OutCome enjoy a night out with friends creating mixed media masterpieces created with watercolor. tempera, acrylic, oil and chalk pastels and so much more! We will explore artists from around the world who will influence our imaginations and creativity. Don't worry about rushing to get dinner made, pizza is included for an extra $10 fee.  Bring an extra $10 if interested in joining us for pizza!Please register early — programs will be canceled if no one is registered at least 5 days in advance.

Back-to-school season is bursting with creativity at YR! During this session, students will explore a fascinating world of characters, patterns, texture and vibrant color. Appetites don’t stand a chance against the realistic Pizza drawing our students will create as they focus on proportion, detail, and shading techniques. Our adorable Baby Sloth will help students practice expression and character design, while our art history portrait of Hiawatha introduces cultural appreciation and portrait composition just in time to celebrate the fall season. Projects are rotated seasonally to ensure that both new and returning students can explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system, so join us to design and build as never before and explore your craziest ideas! Instructors from Play-Well Teknologies. Pokémon Engineering Using LEGO® Materials Pokémon Engineering using LEGO® Materials (grades K-2) - Calling all Pokémon trainers! With the Pokémon Championship approaching, join our enthusiastic Play-Well Instructors as we build and catch our favorite Pokémon, rescue Pikachu from Team Rocket, take a ride on the S.S. Anne to uncover rare and mystic Pokémon, and battle to see who will hold the title of Pokémon Master. Come along on our journey to catch 'em all!!Students will spend six weeks exploring the world of Pokémon through hands-on LEGO® engineering challenges. With guidance from a trained Play-Well TEKnologies instructor, students will build their favorite Pokémon, create vehicles and environments, and take on engineering challenges inspired by the Pokémon universe. The program combines creative building with problem-solving, engineering, and imaginative play. Minecraft Engineering Using LEGO® MaterialsVenture into the world of Minecraft in our unique LEGO® experience. Get ready to build your base, craft your tools, use your Minecart to harvest raw resources, and battle to stop the Ender Dragon from ending the world. Come explore the endless possibilities of LEGO® with a trained Play-Well instructor.Students will spend six weeks exploring the world of Minecraft through hands-on LEGO® engineering challenges. With guidance from a trained Play-Well TEKnologies instructor, students will build, test, and modify their creations while developing problem-solving, engineering, and creative-thinking skills.
